GTA Online received a significant influx of content with the Diamond Casino and Resort update last year that saw the addition of the titular Casino in GTA Online. Along with it came a whole set of minigames as well as new collectibles. One of the new collectibles in GTA Online was Playing Cards, and collecting the lot of them would net the players Casino Chips. The latter was essentially required to gamble in the Diamond Casino and can be bought using Cash in GTA Online....

There’s no arguing that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was not a disappointment to many fans. On the other hand, there is also no denying that many of the issues are pretty funny. For example, take the discovery of time traveling wine in the remastered Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Many of the mechanical beasts that players encounter in Horizon: Zero Dawn are based on real-world creatures, such as the “Tallnecks” that open up portions of Aloy’s map looking like giraffes. Perhaps the most stand-out machine in the game is the “Thunderjaw,” a combative bot based on the T-Rex that serves as one of its greatest challenges. Guerrilla Games knows this, and is now using the Thunderjaw to celebrate the game....

Weapons: Weapons in Guild Wars 2 play an especially large role, as the weapon a player has equipped will determine the first five skills on their skill bar. The skills will vary depending on a player’s profession as well though. Also an interesting note, say a warrior is dual wielding two swords, his first three skills will come from his main-hand weapons and his next two will come from his off-hand....

Pretty soon, Guild Wars 2 will end its support of DirectX 9 and will instead only be compatible with DirectX 11. This change will begin on February 6, and it will gradually roll out over the subsequent eight weeks. By April 18, everyone will be migrated to the DirectX 11 client, and players will no longer be able to launch the game with DirectX 9. Last week Guillermo Del Toro, fanboy favorite director of the Hellboy movies and Pan’s Labyrinth, recently let it slip that he was working a deal with to cut his teeth in the video game industry with “a big company.” Now it would seem, according to the LA Times, that big company could be THQ. According to sources “familiar with the matter,” Danny Bilson, THQ’s executive vice president of core games, is the one overseeing the possible deal....

Arguably one of the best of those players is streamer CarnyJared who has continued playing Guitar Hero despite no new entry being released in years. Lately, CarnyJared has been playing the 6th version of Soulless, a PC mod for Guitar Hero that adds a series of custom songs that are notoriously difficult and impossible for all but the most skilled players to complete. GTA 5 beats many popular games in terms of sales in 2022 (UK) 2022 saw the release of many new games, however, the report by GSD suggested that GTA 5 still sold exceptionally well in the UK despite being an almost decade-old game. According to their findings, the game was the third best-selling digital game of the year and the fifth for physical+digital sales....

Rockstar has been relatively quiet on bringing the GTA franchise over to the Nintendo Switch, and there has been little to no development on that front. Over the years, many third-party studios have been bringing their games to Switch such id Software with Doom. The GTA franchise is one of the most popular franchises in game history, and the Switch would benefit a lot from its inclusion. While Rockstar hasn’t exactly made headway in bringing GTA to the Switch, it looks like a fan of the franchise has managed to port GTA 3 to the console without Rockstar’s help....

Building upon previous GTA Online add-ons such as the Executives and Other Criminals update, which came out in 2015, Further Adventures in Finance and Felony is prepared to give players the opportunity to expand their characters’ mafia-esque networks and become the CEO of what the developer is describing as a “Criminal Enterprise.” Bearing this in mind, fans taking part in the latest update for the game’s online mode will be able to buy a high-rise office and warehouses so as to store and sell illegally imported and exported goods....
