The Guerrilla Collective is set to highlight a variety of video games, with the headlining title being Larian Studios’ highly-anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3. However, the event has been delayed to next weekend, now taking place on June 13, 14, and 15. On June 7, Guerrilla Collective will be showing a special presentation that that focuses on games made by black developers or feature black protagonists. More details on that event will come “shortly,” according to Guerrilla Collective’s statement. It’s unclear at this time when Guerrilla Collective’s original livestream will take place (June 13, 14, or 15), but more details on that should come soon as well.

With the delay of Guerrilla Collective’s presentation, the Summer Game Fest June 2020 schedule has been rearranged quite a bit. Now the next day for fans to look forward to is June 9, which will see the start of Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition, an update on World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, and a look at what’s next for Destiny 2.
Of course, the big June Summer Game Fest event is the PS5 game reveal, which was originally meant to take place on June 4. However, Sony has delayed the PS5 game reveal event indefinitely in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Unlike Guerrilla Collective, Sony has yet to announce a new date for the PS5 game reveal event, but it has said that fans can expect more information sooner rather than later.
So while things have been shuffled around, June should still be big for the gaming industry and Summer Game Fest. July should also be quite exciting for video game fans, as that’s when Microsoft will be showing its first-party Xbox Series X games, including Halo Infinite and much more.
